How to get a student visa in Australia
If you are planning to study in Australia, you must hold a valid student visa in Australia. Before applying for the student visa, you must be enrolled at an Australian school and have the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) ready. You can now register for an IMMI account to apply for the student visa online through Department of Home Affairs’ website. Make sure you have other supporting documents ready when applying for the student visa, including an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) insurance, your valid passport, your study purpose statement and proof of temporary stay. Proof of English ability and Financial support evidence may be required depending on student’s country of origin. You will also be required to complete health check. Current student visa application fee is around $620 it is subject to adjustment at first day of the financial year.
